Attending an elite NASA training program, the American Space Academy, in 1999, Julia Mastroff, Ky Nolan, Natalie Díaz, and Milo Fry become the newest members of The Stargazers Project, a top secret program that creates working teenage astronauts.
On a test mission, The Stargazers’s space shuttle is sucked into a portal and they crash on a magical planet with a past of its own. Now stranded somewhere in the universe and threatened by fae hunters, unidentified creatures, and secrets beyond their imagination, they must find a way to survive or a way to get back home.
But it gets even more complicated when Julia is saved by a Luarian hunter and she discovers she has magical abilities she did not possess before. With love entanglements and betrayals, The Stargazers must survive the creatures hunting them and unravel the mystery of the truth behind The Stargazers Project. Inspired by Julia’s journey from Stargazers recruit to Lunarian Princess, this herbal tea blend includes lemongrass, butterfly pea, chamomile, hibiscus, and rose petals. This tea is earthy, herbaceous, floral, and a little bit tart with notes of lemon, apple, and honey. It is caffeine-free, so it’s the perfect cup to enjoy any time of day. If you prefer to have a caffeine boost add some green tea while brewing. Another way to enjoy this is adding a little honey, vanilla extract, and frothed milk.
Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup of tea, brew for 3-5 minutes, strain, and sweeten to your liking. If you prefer a stronger cup we recommend using more tea rather than a longer brewing time to minimize any bitterness.

Inspired by the vial Tanu gives Milo to drink before his mission, this chocolate chai blend contains rooibos, ginger, green cardamom pods, and chocolate. This tea is spicy, citrusy, decedent, and smooth. While it will not vastly improve your vision like Tanu’s version, it has two sources of antioxidants and is caffeine-free. So it’s the perfect cup to enjoy any time of day. If you prefer to have a caffeine boost add some black tea while brewing or finish it off with a shot of espresso. For a more traditional cup of chai, try brewing in milk instead of water.

I fact-checked with NASA Electrical Engineer and Citizen Astronaut Katya Echazarreta and Strategic Leadership Advisor and Private Astronaut Trainer Nancy Vermeulen and heard about their personal experiences as female astronauts to incorporate into my book.
